Our 2nd Ayvalık Summer Go Camp, organized by Istanbul Go School, will take place at the Sabancı University Creative Technologies Workshop in Küçükköy, Ayvalık, at the end of June.
In addition to Go training, the camp will feature outdoor games, beach time, various workshops, and cultural excursions.
The camp is open to both beginners and experienced students. Participants will be divided into different study groups based on their age.

Go Workshops and Other Activities
The workshops are designated hours for Go practice, with regular break intervals. For younger age groups, these workshops will be divided into shorter sessions and enriched with mind games, garden activities, and drama exercises. For older and more advanced participants, a more intensive Go program will be implemented.

Registration and Accommodation
Students will stay at the hotel with their families.
After breakfast, students will participate in camp training and excursions. The excursions and workshop areas are for students only. After dinner, students will be returned to their families, but those who wish can participate in evening activities at the hotel.
High school students and adult participants can stay independently without parents.
Families can join some activities, such as the dinner at Sural Farm.
Families who wish can extend their hotel stay before or after the camp.

Included in the Fee:
- Camp fee for the student.
- All-inclusive 4-night accommodation fee for the family.
- Lunch and snacks for the participating student at the camp site.
- Go training and Go tournaments.
- Mind games, sports activities, and other workshops at the camp site and hotel.
- Cultural excursions.
- Camp/training area fee.
- Transportation from the hotel to the camp site and excursion areas for the student.
- Participation certificates.
- Dinner at Sural Farm is free for students, but subject to an additional fee for family members.
- Transportation to Ayvalık is not included in the camp fee!
In late June, Ayvalık typically experiences warm and sunny weather, with average daily high temperatures ranging from 26°C to 30°C and lows between 17°C and 21°C.
Transportation to Ayvalık:
Ayvalık is a coastal and vacation district in Turkey’s Balıkesir province, neighboring the Aegean Sea, and has a rich cultural heritage. The closest airport to Ayvalık is Balıkesir Edremit Airport (EDO), followed by İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB). However, international guests who fly to Istanbul (IST and SAW airports) can also reach Ayvalık by bus. Depending on demand and the arrival times of our guests, we can organize a shuttle to Ayvalık.
